What brings you back to harmony? Using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, participants learn about preferences and “type”. This empowering, positive and enjoyable workshop is for everyone with an interest in learning more about themselves and their interactions with others, with many possible applications.

Relationships Understanding your own preferences and type and that of others in your life, can help you appreciate, solve and celebrate differences in relationships with friends, partners, and others. One can learn to see certain behaviour as a reflection of personality type, not something designed to aggravate others. Many partners can learn to celebrate differences with humour and find neutral ground, for discussing misunderstandings and miscommunication

Parenting requires the cooperation of all family and all blended family members. Understanding preferences and type, can reduce presumptions of “right” and “wrong” and can help families resolve chores, managing money, schoolwork, decision making, family recreational activities, discipline, household rules etc.

Learning and teaching for children, adolescents and adults, education and learning, can reveal different preferences, styles and “types”. Understanding these differences can greatly affect outcome. Teachers who vary their teaching styles with consideration to personality type often find they can effectively teach a wider range of students. Student’s preference for Extraversion can appear as disruptive and unproductive to a teacher of a different preference. Parents who understand type can appreciate that a teacher’s point of view may only reflect his or her own preferences, not necessarily a rejection of their child.

For example a preference for Introversion may find one more satisfied in areas of research, while others with extraversion preferences may enjoy more interaction with people and choose different environments
